Insoluble anode for electroplating is a coating of noble metal oxides with high electrochemical catalytic properties on a titanium substrate (mesh, plate, strip, tube, etc.) containing highly stable valve metal oxides.


Principle of operation.

In all plating fields, all principles are basically the same. The desired plated metal is dissolved in the electrolyte, the plated metal substrate is used as the negative electrode, and the anode is used as the positive electrode, i.e. a complete current transfer cycle is formed. The chemical reaction that occurs simultaneously with plating in the plating bath is the precipitation of oxygen on the surface of the anode. For example copper-nickel plating; decorative plating (trivalent chromium plating, jewelry, glasses, household hardware plating); hanging and barrel plating processes for different applications; electroforming (dental products, contact bushings and styli, etc.); hard chromium plating; special plating; electrophoretic coating; white tin copper plating, etc.
